Horses improving emotional intelligence

Research in the area of equine assisted therapy and equine assisted leadership is small and growing. This study shows an increase in emotional intelligence in nurses.

Articles about the effectiveness of EAP for veterans has much information that pertains to civilian clients as well:

More research is needed, but anecdotal information has been positive. This includes feedback from my clients, both of those clients who had tried traditional therapy prior to equine assisted therapy as well as those new to any kind of therapy.
